Less Lethal Munitions Recertification | 06/08/2023

Must currently be employed by a law enforcement agency as a peace officer or equivalent. Must have completed the 16-hour Less Lethal Devices / Munitions Course prior to enrolling in this class. This class is designed to recertify sworn peace officers throughout the state of California in the deployment of less-lethal devices and munitions (37MM, 40MM, CS, Smoke, and Pepperball launcher). Students will learn to deploy less-lethal munitions during a mobile field force deployment. Case law and legal issues pertaining to less-lethal devices in mobile field force situations will also be covered.
