Child Victims-Interviewing | 12/11/2024

Must currently be employed by a law enforcement or public safety agency. This is an 8-hour basic investigative course designed to teach responding officers/deputies how to effectively handle initial reports of child physical abuse or sexual assault. It will also provide methods to properly interview children in field settings when basic information is needed to determine an appropriate investigative and safety response. This course consists of facilitated discussion, case study analysis, scenarios, and skill assessments for in-service personnel and first responders.
